The Inputs Partnership has been actively boosting smallholder access to agricultural inputs through the strengthening of the agrodealer network in the clusters.  Work has also been continuing on improving awareness to farmers of the benefits of inputs use.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Government to reduce the COVID 19 pandemic in the country, the project has opted to conducted one-on-one refreshment training to 10 agrodealers on business management. The training sessions are including the assessment of agrodealers needs for investment or working capital credit.

The agrodealers have also been given  technical training on proper storage of agro-inputs and on the correct use of seeds, fertilizer and crop protection products. This has had a positive effect with farmers acknowledging that the advice they are getting from agrodealers is informative and valuable.
